Before Premise, Maury served as Chairman and CEO of Accela, the nation's leading civic technology platform, for nearly a decade. Under his leadership, Accela became the dominant SaaS platform for government permitting, licensing, code enforcement, and public health services, powering digital government for hundreds of jurisdictions across North America and Australia. His tenure at Accela earned him Ernst & Young's Northern California Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2016 and recognition as a Public CIO Industry Leader.

Maury began his career after graduating from the University of Houston and serving as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserves.
