
Maury Blackman is a veteran technology executive, entrepreneur, and investor with more than 25 years of experience building high-growth companies at the intersection of civic technology, artificial intelligence, market intelligence, and digital trust. Throughout his career, he has led transformative platforms that serve governments, global enterprises, and public institutions, earning a reputation for scaling mission-driven companies that operate where technology, policy, and markets converge.
Maury is the Founder and Chairman of Insight Integrity Group, a technology holding company focused on restoring trust in digital markets and public information systems.
He is also the Co-Founder and CEO of The Transparency Company, developing technology to restore integrity to the global online review ecosystem, and serves as CEO of Velosimo, a government technology integration platform.
Previously, Maury served as CEO of Premise Data and Chairman & CEO of Accela, where his leadership earned him Ernst & Young's Northern California Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2016. He is also the Managing Director of Pierpoint Ventures, an early-stage investment firm.
Maury began his career after graduating from the University of Houston and serving as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserves. Outside of business, he is an accomplished endurance athlete who has completed 11 Ironman triathlons, including the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
Over the past 20 years, Maury has participated in over 100 endurance events including marathons, trail running, mountain biking, open water swims, cycling, and triathlons.
His primary focus is Ironman distance triathlons (2.4m swim, 112m bike, 26.2 run), completing 11 full and 20+ half ironman distances.
Maury completed Ironman World Championship 2x and 70.3 World Championship 3x in Clearwater, Las Vegas, and Mt. Tremblant.
